Privacy & advertising measurement

We use an essential session cookie for admin security and request protection. Our own advertising uses first-party measurement. The live score widget is hosted by SportBusy and may load its own scripts, cookies or links under its privacy policy.

To limit repeat ad counting, the server generates a daily keyed signature from the connecting IP address and browser user agent. Raw IP addresses and browser details are not stored in the ad event table. Signatures are retained with events for up to 400 days, then removed during the next news import. Admin login rate-limit records contain hashed IP addresses. Your hosting provider may maintain its own access logs.

An impression is recorded when at least half the ad is visible for one continuous second. Repeated impressions count at most once per campaign and signature per 30-minute period, clicks once per minute. Shared networks may be grouped together. JavaScript blockers and bot filtering can affect measurement. Reports are estimates and are not independently audited.

Ad clicks open advertiser websites, and news links open publishers. Those websites apply their own privacy policies. We do not promise or measure conversions on advertiser websites.
